The Still
Point
01 — The Turning World
Three forces build everything you can measure.
Each one is a funnel, turning around the center — its arms sliding inward, spiralling down toward a single still core. Every moment drawn to the middle and gathered at the pinch. This is the material world. Beautiful. Optimal. And closed.
Soul — who you are
Mind — how you perceive
Strength — what you do with your body and time
02 — The Lie of the Clock
Time is not a circle.
A clock says time is a flat loop — twelve to twelve, around again, forever. The funnel tells the truth: time pours. It slides inward and down through a single still point. A true clock wouldn't circle. It would spiral inward.
03 — The Axis That Pierces
One axis is not like the others.
Three of these you can measure. The fourth you cannot. It stands as a cross through the center — perpendicular to soul, to mind, to matter — the vertical the material world has no name for. It does not fuse into the loop. It pierces it.
The vertical — the divine axis
04 — The Conscious Axis
You are the only being built for both.
Not a point on the rim — you transcend pure matter. Not the center itself — you are not God. You are the bridge: dust and breath, spinning dimension and still axis, the only creature in creation that can perceive the geometry and ask what it means.
Soul
Conscious self. Emotion, identity, relationship.
Rim-pull: ego · fear · wound
Mind
Reason, perception, understanding.
Rim-pull: pride · ideology · noise
Strength
Body, time, energy, creative output.
Rim-pull: appetite · comfort · exhaustion
05 — The Kardia
The tuner at the center of the receiver.
Soul, mind, and strength are the three spinning axes of the human person. But beneath them all is a fourth thing — not another axis, but the orientation center of the whole. The heart: the place where your deepest loyalty is formed. What you actually love when nothing is watching.
You can maintain all three axes perfectly and still have a heart pointed away from God. This is the precise anatomy of religious performance without presence. Guard it above everything else.
for everything you do flows from it. — Proverbs 4:23
06 — The Eternal Now
Where every axis cancels.
At the center all directions meet and fall still — past equals future, here equals there, the spinning stops. The one point outside the turning: the eternal present. Where the vertical crosses the horizontal. Where they cross — a cross.
Alignment doesn't earn God's presence. It removes the interference that prevents you from perceiving a signal that is already broadcasting.
07 — The Way Through
The way through is down.
You don't measure your way to the center. You don't spin faster or more intelligently. You arrive by surrender — small enough to pass through the still point. The door is the shape of a cross. Unless you become like a child.
and with all your soul,
and with all your mind,
and with all your strength. — Mark 12:30
